I know what you mean Jeannie. It's important to share what we have that can be of service to others but we can do that and still keep the other person's best interest at heart.

I'm looking forward to finally meeting you in person!

Hi, Schelli,

Thanks for pointing out this book, Schelli. It sounds perfect for those of us, like you said, are not motivated by money.

Have been having this conversation with several people on how to do business in an ethical way and moving away from the old way of doing business from competition into collaboration.

Plus, how to not cross that line of promoting our services without using the old ploys. We just are not willing to cross that line because of our spiritual integrity.

Looking forward to seeing you and Bob at the end of the month.

Sincerely,
Jeannie

Schelli,

Great post. Like you, I am not motivated by money alone. However, as I have more clarity about the value of what I offer to my clients, I understand that money is the medium through which my clients express appreciation for my services. How wonderful to be able to offer my gifts and earn my livlihood doing what I love. I'm ready to turn on the faucet, and have a bucket underneath.

I am excited to continue this conversation at your event. That's my next big step.

Schelli,

Great post! I, too, loved the analogy Eric Butterworth shared about "asking" for water from the faucet, and the idea of participating in our own good.

I can't wait to continue the discussion at your event!

Something wonderful is happening through you!

My dear Schelli, this is so you....I have wondered how you have been doing. Apparently very well, on a spiritual level! I have let go of a lot...I am on a month long cleanse and things are very interesting. That along with parent woes, of which I am sure you are familiar, is a great teacher of humility and vulnerability. Thank you for being you. I consider you some of that support you were talking about! Much love, Lisa
